You've probably noticed that we're living in an ever-strengthening fascist state; that is, of course, unless you've accepted the premise that an unnecessarilly strong central government, led by a dominant central figure, espousing an economic policy, which assumes that what is good for large industries that have direct links with national leaders is also good for the average Joe and Jane ("trickle down economics"); that a suppression of labor unions, an infusion of socially intolerant "religion" based beliefs into legislation, a violently aggressive, militaristic foreign policy, and a growing suppression of civil rights - are all as American as apple pie. If none of the above bothers you, then I guess New America is just peachy creamy as far as you're concerned.
